Man arrested for stealing lawnmower, air compressor in Darlington Co.

A man was arrested on charges of grand larceny and larceny on Thursday in Darlington County after deputies responded to a call about stolen items.

Officials responded to the area of East Saint Paul Road in the Timmonsville area of Darlington County.

According to a release from Darlington County Sheriff's Office, a John Deere Lawnmower and Air Compressor valued at approximately $2,400 were stolen.

The John Deere Lawnmower was recovered as a result of the investigation, but the air compressor is still missing.

Shaquille Wright was arrested and charged with larceny/grand larceny, with a value of $2,000 but less than $10,000.
